I may have gotten you out of context on some words probably due to the "exaggerated metephors" as you said. But then, I'm not labeling either as ignorant. All I'm saying is that you still have a lot things to know about relationships these day (this is completely different from the word "ignorant"), and that you won't find out those things if you keep on retreating to your comfort zone.

Maybe I don't know you longer than other people have. If you'd allow me then, perhaps I'll understand better. I am always keen on winning and keeping friends, especially if its a great writer like you. Just don't keep yourself out behind those walls you're saying.

I wouldn't say I figured it out completely but don't label me as an ignorant either. I've heard, seen and experienced a couple of things about relationships and not all paints a pretty picture but that doesn't mean (like I said) I've sworn it off until eternity or even pushed it away in the meantime.

Erm, I think you're taking the whole island metaphor WAAAAY too seriously. Take it with a grain of salt. My writing voice is loud and extravagant but like the Game of Thrones references, the metaphors are almost always all exaggerated because, well, we all know House Stark and House Lannister will never work together for a common cause. (I haven't read the books, GoT fans, correct me if I'm wrong. :) )

And lastly, I'm not hiding "behind the words of this blog" because if I am, there wouldn't be any of this in the first place. I guess if you've known me longer and more personally and see how I interact with people day to day, you woudln't find the conclusion of this post so bleak and despondent. Either way, thanks for reading and commenting on my works as always. You've been a great writer friend. :)

You may have grown out of the fairy tale bubble, but you haven't quite figured out too how commitment and relationships really work these days. And you won't find it out by retreating to your comfort zone. But in due time, when you're more courageous already not to hide behind the words of this blog, you're gonna risk once more to be with someone. Because definitely, there will come a future, wherein even your emergency kit of friends won't be that dependable, and on that moment, you will realize, sometimes, you can't make it on your own.

I paid around 400,000 pesos for the CAP educational plan of my two kids. They were fully paid and I felt hopeless and helpless knowing what all these people had gone through trying to claim back their money. CAP branches have closed and one has to travel to Makati main office to follow up on matters which, at the end of the day, would give you nothing but headaches and heartaches. My daughter is now in college and CAP couldn't even extend a single cent for my daughter's education... I am jobless and presently living in Mindanao and couldn't even afford to go to the main office to follow up which I know for sure would just be a waste of time, money and effort with all these predicaments and sentiments of lots of people coming out. Sana naman yung mga magagaling nating politicians eh tulungan naman tayo sa mga ganitong klaseng situwasyon kung saan daang daang libong pamilya ang naaapektuhan...

sana naman mabalik na samin yung pera na hinulog namin dyan sa cap. i'm now a first year college student at naaawa ako sa parents ko kasi super trabaho sila para mapag-aral kmi ng kapatid ko. hinulog ng mama ko ang isang malaking halaga dyan sa cap to ensure my future, pero ano po nangyari??? sana nmn maibalik nyo. please po:( we really need it. lahat po ng mga magulang na naghulog sa cap ay nahihirapan na ngayon. hindi po biro ang mag-ipon ng pera para mapag-aral ang anak kaya please po talaga. make sure your company is doing your very best para maibalik samin ang pera. please wag naman po kayo magsawalang bahala. please.

Nakakaawa naman ung mga nagpepension sa CAP lalo na ang educational plan, ung mister ko hindi man lang ginamit ung educational plan nya sa CAP dahil naging scholar ng DOST, 7years na isang beses pa lang namin nakukuha ung claim check nya, laging sagot ng CAP "hindi lang naman kayo ung kumukuha ng claim." Ang sarap sanang sagutin at murahin ung kausap namin sa CAP. Unang una, hindi nga namin nagamit bakit kami nagpapakahirap kunin ung buong pera, dapat nga ibigay sa amin ng buo kc hindi nga nagamit, inimpok namin un. Palibhasa ginamit ng mga namumuno sa CAP ung pera namin. Maawa nman kayo ibigay nyo ng buo na at wag ung papartial partial. Kapal ng face nyo, kaya sa mga taong my balak ng kumuha ng educational plan sa anak nila wag na lang sa CAP mag impok na lang kayo sa bangko ung mga matatag, like BDO, Metrobank or Landbank. Thank you so much! I wrote it as a Mother's Day special for all those mothers who braved the feeling of uncertainty and sheer terror of having a child at what seems like the wrong time.
