I really love your posts! You are one funny person. :-) Incidentally, I think we have already met each other. I was a former PNTP/Rn Heals nurse myself in tne sugical ICU of qmmc. I could be one of those sicu nurses who might have received your endorsement post OR. Anyways, keep up the crazy writing! Looking foward to reading more.

@Anonymous

Haha, replied to your earlier comment on the other post. I'd love to know who you are!

@Airina April

Thanks for regularly reading my works! I adore your blog too even though I don't get to drop by regularly. Keep blogging! :)

I've been following your blog and your posts have been a source of insight to the life of sorta-newbie-nurses and your posts are never boring!

So this means you've ended your nursing career for now? Is there a specific reason for this? I've been out of the medical field for 2 years now and thinking of going back to try (as a untried working nurse!). Thinking of later applying for OR nurse staff if possible.

Oh! And reading above you mentioned 5 days a week.. is that the usual working days for QMMC? And not the dreaded 6 days?

Thank you for reading the products of my garbled thought process I wrote them specifically for you colleagues who may have been looking for nursing experiences of others because I do enjoy reading them as well.

If you have the chance, choose to work inside the OR, it's a stressful and demanding environment but you get to learn everything from internal anatomy to dealing with people from all walks of life. And yes, the usual is 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. :) I will definitely be back in the medical field real soon. :) Good luck on your endeavors!
